LD/S and ME series built-in pumps (centrifugal pumps in close-coupled design, small centrifugal pumps) - Overview

Classification

LD/S and ME series built-in pumps are single-stage, normal-priming small centrifugal pumps in a space-saving short design or block design.

Construction

The built-in pumps are available in a total of 9 sizes and are made of stainless steel as standard. They have an open impeller geometry and are available with a threaded or nozzle connection, depending on the application. Thanks to their sophisticated design, they are particularly suitable for transporting contaminated liquids, e.g. lint-laden wash water.

Functionality

The LD/S series built-in pumps offer flow rates of up to 90 m³/h and reach delivery heads of up to 22 m. The motor outputs vary between 0.06 kW and 5.5 kW. The maximum housing pressure is 6 bar, and the connections can be designed as either threaded or hose nozzles.

Thanks to their compact design and robust construction, the pumps in this series offer a high level of reliability and operational safety, even under demanding conditions.

Power range

Pressure: 0 to 6 bar

Flow rate: 0 to 90 m^3/h

Power: 0.6 kW to 5.5 kW

Pumped liquids: contaminated and lint-laden liquids

Housing pressure: 6 bar

Solid size: depending on pump size

Connections: Thread or hose nozzle

Applications

The LD/S and ME series of built-in pumps are frequently used in industrial applications where contaminated and lint-laden liquids need to be pumped. Due to their compact design and space-saving construction, they are ideal for use in confined spaces or directly integrated into systems. Typical areas of application include water treatment, waste water systems and processes where impurities are present in the pumped media. With a maximum flow rate of up to 90 m³/h and a delivery head of up to 22 m, these pumps cover a wide range of applications.

Sealing technology

The seals of the LD/S and ME built-in pumps ensure reliable sealing to protect the motor from contact with the pumped liquid. Particular attention is paid to the requirements of the respective operating conditions in order to guarantee maximum operational reliability. Thanks to the robust design and high-quality materials, the pumps can work efficiently even in demanding environments.

Materials

The pumps in the LD/S and ME series are manufactured in stainless steel as standard, which gives them high corrosion resistance and a long service life. This choice of material allows them to be used in a wide range of industrial processes. The open impellers and the choice of threaded or hose nozzle connections make the pumps particularly flexible and versatile in their application. All parts in contact with the liquid are designed for durability and resistance to the pumped media.

All parts in contact with liquids are, after prior design, media-resistant incl. the matching sealing materials.
